Supply issues have finally settled down and we’re back to full production on all products. After an extended delay we’re now back in production on our Racing Beat-modified Weber 51 IDA carburetors for rotary engine applications. Weber and Holley intake manifolds are also back in stock and ready for delivery. Work is underway on exhaust systems for both the sedan and 5-door versions. As with most new Mazda applications, there typically is a delay with the introduction of new replacement parts in the dealer distribution chain – critical for the comparison and design of our welding fixtures. We’ve finally gotten our hands on a OE muffler for the sedan model and prototype work and test fitting has begun. Since the 2019 Mazda 3 features a completely new rear suspension configuration as compared with the earlier model, unfortunately a complete muffler redesign is required. We’ve since had access to a 2019 sedan model, we’re confident that the sedan/5-door muffler shapes and configurations are similar, but the muffler outlet tubes on the 5-door are significantly shorter – meaning there will be a completely separate exhaust for both the sedan and 5-door models. Prototype work and test fitting will continue through the spring of 2020, more to come.

Good news for our widely popular ball-joint sway bar end link housings! While our sway bar end link kits that contain these housings have been incredibly popular, we’ve struggled to keep these on the shelf due to the laborious two-step manufacturing process. We’ve FINALLY sorted it out with a new vendor, but in the process it yielded an unexpected bonus, the new housings will now be produced using a stronger, forged aluminum housing! Even better news….they’ve arrived and are back in stock!

The new 2018 Mazda 3 models are in the showrooms and we’ve confirmed fitment of the Racing Beat Exhaust systems on these new models. We have exhaust systems available for both the sedan and 5-Door HB versions, these systems have proven to to very popular with Mazda 3 owners over the years. Super sounding – deep, low growl, without any harsh or droning tones.

We’ve recently updated the tip on our 2004-09 Mazda 3 5-Dr and Mazda 3 4-Door exhaust systems to a more aggressive 4″ OD style!
